General Information
The Centre was established in 1964 by agreement between the Government of Korea and UNDP/FAO. Its main purpose is to provide the fishing industry with adequate manpower and meet the needs of mariners to improve on the theory and technique of fishing. A number of foreign trainers have been trained at the centre since 1968.
